An accomplished educational administrator, Dr. Timothy Gadson holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Economics and Secondary Education from Florida A&M University, as well as both a Master of Education and a Doctorate in Higher Education Administration from Washington State University. After serving in various principal and district director positions, Dr. Gadson became an associate superintendent with public school systems in Atlanta, Georgia; New Hope, Minnesota; and Anoka, Minnesota.
In 2021, Dr. Gadson relocated to Utah, where he began advising the Board of Education and providing superintendent leadership to the Salt Lake City School District. In 2023, he returned to Atlanta to serve as Interim Deputy Superintendent of Atlanta Public Schools. In this role, he oversaw district-wide initiatives, including Literacy Advancement, summer school programs, and after-school programs.
Dr. Gadson is currently the Chief of Transformation Services with the National Academic Educational Partners, Inc. In this role, he leads large-scale improvement initiatives, implements evidence-based strategies to enhance student outcomes, and fosters sustainable organizational change. His work also includes developing leaders by providing targeted coaching, facilitating professional learning, and building capacity for effective decision-making and instructional leadership. Additionally, Dr. Gadson owns and operates a private educational administrative consultancy, established in 2010, through which he directly coaches and mentors a wide range of school leaders.
